Hi People of the world!
You could try hostelbookers which has a wide range of budget accommodation.
If you get fed up with KL, you could visit Penang Island on your way north to Langkwai. It too has beaches, etc.
Expect rain some days (which very quickly dries up). A small telescopic umbrella is handy.
Thanks so much, I will certainly have a look at hostelbookers.
Is there much to do in KL in regards to sightseeing or many activities?
I shall make sure that my umbrella is packed too!
Thank you!
Check out the travel guide for for sights, activities and events available.
You can also book accommodation through this site. Just click on Accommodation on the top menu.
Awesome! I shall look into that further. I have booked accommodation via this site before, but have found the costs to be a little more expensive than sights such as Asia Rooms.
Nonetheless, I shall browse it again.
Would you recommend sights? I already plan to go to the Batu Caves, Petaling market and the Petronas Towers.
Thanks again!
Further to the sights you've mentioned, Menara tower is worth a visit for great views of the city. Merdeka square is also interesting.
Bex, the name is Menara KL, or KL Tower in English. Menara is for tower. It's a very common mistake for this tower, thanks to the way they name it and the logo design.
Cool! I'll certainly add the mentioned places to my list of things to do!
