Thanks for the info on montreal. It looks like I'm going to have to wait. I made a few doctors and dentists appointments for my second week off instead.
I went to the outerbanks, it was alright. I saw the wright brothers museum, did some hang gliding, went to a few beaches, ate at a lot of terrible restaurants, and a couple decent ones... it was ok.
