Hiya! I'm in the same boat except I fly from Newcastle emirates to Brisbane and get there 29th sept! I'm so scared now doing it alone but everyone on here appears to be in the same boat! have you booked anywhere to stay when you get there? I havent yet but will have to do that soon..... dont really have a plan but want to head up east coast towards cairns and then sydney for christmas!

Your plans sound very similar to me! I have a hostel for two weeks in Brisbane at 'Somewhere to Stay' in west end so will still be there when you arrive. I check out on the 30th but i will sort accommodation for afterwards when i am there. You will have to let me know where you end up etc and we can meet up for a few drinks!
But why you are scared? Brisbane is the heaven on the earth. You must visit Brisbane
Hiya! Ahh will have to have a look at that one haven't booked anywhere to stay and I land at quarter to one in Morning so think probs just jump ion a taxi! How long you there for? Yeah def meet for drinks that would be good! I've heard all good things about Brisbane. I think I get there early hours the 1st by time add on time diff etc xx

Booked my flight to Brisbane for the 12th Sept from Manchester with Emirates, anyone else on the same flight or thinking of heading to Brisbane first? Had originally booked with another girl from here but she has cancelled so I'm going it alone argghh! So scared!
