If you want to stay in Sydney than I think Sydney Opera House is the most beautiful place. I had visited Sydney in last summer vacation with my family and had great experience.
well hoping to stay in sydney for 2 weeks so the opera house will be a must see
Sydney is a beautiful city and has a lot to see and offer. Obviously the the opera house is a must, but I would also take a zip line tour. I did the one time I have been there and it was amazing.
I want to go to Sydney next year. I think It would be great trip for my family

When you planning on going? I'm going to be in oz feb to march 2013. Am staying in peth for ten days where I have use of my cousins car- then flying to cairns and making my own way to Sydney ( have about 5 weeks). I'm also not into going out drinking- would rather spend money on exploring and seeing things.
I'm into nature so barrier reef snorkelling, maybe diving is a must! Also want to sail whitsundays, Fraser island , cape tribulation Rainforest.

Thats okay :-) are you going alone too ?you sound more like your going for the same sort of reasons! My cousin lives there too he lives in sydney so i have a place to crash for a few days once i get settled! Youll deffinately have to tell me all about it and the best things to do etc! Jeslous that your going sooner!

Yes going alone too-am bit nervous bout it! How much you planning on spending. I've saved up £5000 to last me the four months- am hoping that's going to be enough. I'm going to take credit cards etc just in case too!

Looking to go Ozz at some point next year.
Got a few places to crash, working family farm north of Brisbane and have family in adalaide! I realise they at opposite sides of a vast country but that's the fun of it right?
Would love to travel up easy coast by any means necessary.
I've saved about the same amount of money as you.
My plans are a bit vague at moment but hoping to find someone to finish them off!
