That sounds great, I was planning on leaving Dub 30th Oct to fly into Bangkok and then leave for Brisbane on the 28th Nov so we seem to be in or around the same timeline, when and where are you flying into THailand?

Im also headed to Australia - fly from dublin to sydney on 10th dec!!
I cant wait but am also slightly petrified about going solo. Luckily I have been chatting to a few people through here so I feel a lot better than I did when I first decided to go for it
I dont really have any concrete plans, just know I start in Sydney. I was in Australia last year (travelled the east coast Cairns-Melbourne) and I cant begin to explain how much I enjoyed it.
If you guys are in Sydney at Xmas you should come to the big event on Bondi Beach!

Hi girls! I'm also from Dublin and am planning a trip to SE Asia in November (going to start in Bangkok, head north, then over to Laos, Vietnam and Cambodia) before heading over to Australia (haven't thought about that part of the trip too much yet!)
Do you all have your flights booked yet? I would love to meet some people in Bangkok and travel around Thailand with others, will be so scared on my own :-) If anyone is interested, feel free to send me a PM!!
My mind is being put at ease a little knowing that there are so many others in the same boat :-)

I know this has probably died.
But for all it's worth. I leave the UK for Thailand on the 5th November & leave Thailand for Brisbane on 6th December.
