Hey heading out to Melbourne on the 9/12, hoping to head to Sydney for xmas and new year, what the best way to get there ive heard about the greyhound bus??

I generally took the when bussing between Melbourne and Sydney, as they tended to have the best prices when booking last minute. If you book enough in advance, the can be very competitive, though, and much more comfortable (in fact, for the 9th of December, it's currently cheapest: AUD $69 by train, versus $75/$80 for firefly, versus $90 for greyhound).
JetStar has flights for 39$ but before 20th Dec
