Hello. I'm a first time poster and looking for a little bit of learned advice, if at all possible please.
I am travelling (next spring) to Warsaw and onward to Kętrzyn to see Wolfsschanze. I have been to Poland many times, but not to this destination. Can anybody give me any advice about transport and accommodation in the region please? I travel very laid back and just a simple 1* hotel is fine, unless you advice against any particular one of course. Every mode of transport is an option as well, including walking. So if anyone has been to either Kętrzyn, Wolfsschanze or indeed both, I'd be grateful for any valuable feedback.
If you have been there, how long is the stroll round the site, is there an admission charge, do I need to but a ticket in advance from somewhere outside the site and is there anything else to see in the area?
So many questions. Sorry if I'm sounding cheeky on my forst post. It's not intending to be.
