Sounds like a great idea to me. Im staying in the Kings Cross area (i think) from the 27th so would be well up for that rather than meeting on NYE

Just looked on google and i'm like a 10 min drive from where you are...i'm gonna be staying at sydney central hostel and i'm guessing most of us are gonna be in that sort of area?

I don't think your hostel is In Kings Cross I think it's near Central. I think most people are staying near Central, there's a decent backpacker bar underneath Wake up hostel called sidebar. Could maybe suggest there to meet up?
