Hi Canadian travellers,
I can't give info concerning Dreamville or theTomorrowland festival itself. You'll need to be over 18, and in 2012 it as not allowed to bring glass bottles on the camping site. But there should be no problem in bringing cans. In Belgium it is legal to drink alcohol from the age of 16 in most situations.
As for traveling to Boom : it's a small city very close to Antwerp. The city has nothing special, you'll probably enjoy Antwerp more. Antwerp has a small airport, but there are very limited flights going there because of the proximity of Brussels airport.
So your best option would be to fly to Brussels airport, and from there take a direct train (leaving beneath the airport terminal) to Antwerp. Spend some time in Antwerp, or travel directly to Boom. You can buy a ticket from The airport to Boom, changing trains in Berchem (which is a station on the outskirts of Antwerp). Or you can travel to Antwerp central station, spend a day or 2 there, and then travel on a separate ticket to Boom. These tips are based on train travel, but when the festival date will be closer thee will be more information on special busses going to Tomorrowland.
As for the travel duration : you'll be in less then 45 minutes from the Brussels airport in Antwerp, and in less then 30 minutes from Antwerp in Boom.
During Tomorrowland the Boom and Antwerp area gets really busy, so book any accommodation in advance. There is no need to book any train tickets : just get them at a reasonable price at the ticket booth at the airport or the different train stations.
If for some reason you're not able to find a decently priced flight to Brussels, you can also fly to Amsterdam in The Netherlands and then take the high speed train to Antwerp directly from the Amsterdam 'Schiphol' airport. This train does however need booking on www.nshighspeed.nl
In 2013 there will be 2 different trains offering that journey : the 'Thalys' (very fast) and the 'Fyra' (fast). The the first one only runs a few times a day and is usually more expensive. The other one runs normally every hour. However, because of technical and political troubles concerning the 'Fyra' train, booking info on the website is not to be trusted until somewhere early 2013.
A group of 4 of us are also looking a going from Canada to (saskatchewan), i had a few questions though...
1.) Should we book flights now to save money, as it sits they are around 1,600 dollars Canadian, or wait?
2.) How hard is it to get tickets?
3.) Say I wanna get tickets for everybody am i able to buy multiple at a time?
4.) We plan on camping there would our best bet being bringing our 6 person tent or paying a little extra and getting 2 there?

Planning on going this year as well and coming from Canada too. My two cents.
Tickets are very very tough to get unless you have a contact in Belgium (they give first priority). If I were you I wouldn't book your flights unless you have a Belgian friend. Or if you plan on travelling to Belgium even if you dont get tickets.
I'm going with one friend and we plan on booking the flights immediately after we get tickets (if!). And from talking to other ppl, it's a lot better to use the tents they have there, only 2 person tents, but much easier to travel.

Me and my friends are planning on going to Tomorrowland this upcoming Summer, 2013.
We will be travelling out of Canada, therefore what are out best options concerning traveling there?
The festival itself is in Boom, Belgium so would it be best to travel to Antwerp then take a commercial plane or bus into Boom? Or possibly fly in somewhere else?
Also, my friends are I are considering of staying in the "Relax Rooms" in Dreamville, however if we are 4 people could that fit in one room? Are we allowed?
Also, concerning alcohol? I am aware that we can't bring any personal alcohol into Tomorrowland but what about Dreamville? what are our options there?

I've been to Tomorrowland last year and I'm planning to return this year. There is no flight from Toronto to Antwerp, so your best bet is to land in either Amsterdam or Brussels. Last year I landed in Amsterdam, then took a train to Antwerp. From Antwerp, there is a local bus leaving the Central train station for Boom.

Hi there,
If you are going only for Tomorrowland, I'd say book flights only after you have successfully purchased the tickets. Last year when I went to Tomorrowland, I had planned a Europe trip following the festival so I was able to book ahead disregarding whether I got the Tomorrowland tickets or not. Last year I was only planning on attending the Friday of the 3-day event, so it wasn't too difficult to secure a one-day pass. I did wait for almost 2 hours in queue during the online purchase though. You can buy up to 4 passes at a time, unless they changed it this year.
