jatujak is a good idea, but mind that it's open only on weekends, so the 2nd of june is ok to go there, other days there will be no market
If you are planing to chatujak on weekend . Try train market not too far from chatujuk. Train market start Fri- Sun 5Pm-1Am .Have a nice walk ^^

you will require a van taxi at the airport . will be all fit in one van with luggage. please make sure you ask them for a flat rate or run by meter prices.
If you are heading to silom will cost you no more than 400 Baht with trafflic and will cost you nomore than 400 Baht with expressway included to kao san road.
any question ...???
Hello to you. I have been in Thailand this January. Thainland is a nice country but what I saw is Bangkog and Pattaya are the worst. A lot of tourist and very expensive prices, because a lot of western and europen tourists are here. So if you wand spend your money for nothing, yes, you can go here. I would advice you to look some other cities, maybe more traditionnal, but for my point of view more interresting. Places like Chang Mai or Udon Thaini. Good place and a lot of nice place and temples to see. I always sad to see most tourist know from Thailand only Puket, Bangkok, Pattaya and maybe ladies bar....
mrt and bts working hours 6.00 till midnight, but there is no bts or mrt exactly at don muang airport, though it's not that far from there. where do yo need to go from the airport?
to bruno21, you say the prices are hight? maybe you don't know where to shop/eat for good prices or just were cheated. other cities (like chiang mai or udon thani) are situated 1000 km away from bangkok, so if you have a lot of extra time and money to travel there, then of course you can. but there are nice places and temples in every thai city, so no need to travel so far to see them
i need to go to siam. it will be 5 of us.
so, from don mueang it'll be better if i take the van to siam, right?
