Hey dan, I'm flying to NYC the 16th and then another flight to Washington then to San Fran but then hiring a car to drive to Yosemite, Utah, Gran Can and LA. It depends on how much driving you want to do or whether it will be more convenient to get a flight, accommodation looks good on here but book it on the way so nothing is set in stone hope this helps
