Vegas baby! Very hard to beat being in Las Vegas for New Years Eve.
I spent my Christmas and New Year last year in Philippines with a friend. Their New Year was really really fun, specially Christmas. Everyone was like busy preparing food for the EVE and all of them were so excited for the holiday. It's true, Philippines has the longest Christmas as when BER month strikes, they then will start the preparation for Christmas and they already start the countdown for that. You can see people on the street or jeepneys caroling. Some of the locals hate those but I enjoy it. HA HA HA.
I celebrated the New Year specifically to one of the tallest hotels in Cebu, they had wonderful fireworks that was played along with music and it looks like it dances up above. Most memorable New Year for me.
Hogmanay is Scotland's new year celebration. In Edinburgh it's a big open air party, but more interesting is Stonehaven where the local men parade through the streets swinging fireballs on metal chains.
Newquay - England massive fancy dress street party along the sea front road...... loads of bars, live music, great food & thousands of people dressed up in the craziest costumes all out having a great time together.... We were at the Central Bar where all the streets join up when midnight hit, amazing atmosphere there was foam machines coming outta several different bars into street.
N to top it all of the beach is only 30seconds walk for those brave enough to take a new years dip in the freezing cold sea.
Goa (India) would be one of the best option ...

Last new year i spend my whole new year with my mom in London but at this new i think i am with my boy friend Nik in Las Vegas.
Times Square in London if it possible......
My friends planning to going GOA on this new year so i think GOA is the best destination for New Year.
