Hi, It is nice to travel with something else because the moment you are their, there's someone you can share with the joyful you experience but if you think that you don't have something with and you are hunting people to have it. I think You should bear in your mind that you should get more details about the people you where meet that you go with the travel, we don't know the security of your self that what could be happened, have a well nice trip, I hope my idea well be guided for you

I have been travelling since may and i am on the 1 year visa looking to travel up the east coast in september time. It wouldbegood to travel with some like minded people.

i arrive in Brisbane september 30th, no plans at all yet, other than maybe heading down to Byron bay and then heading up the east coast from there until i run out of money and need to get a job!

Adam - the idea of maybe hitching some of the way in your van sounds pretty sic and an awesome offer!

Donna, i have no plans except 7 days booked in Sydney from the 22nd August. I think i'd like to travel up the east coast if i can make some buddies I am also keen to so farm work and obtain a second year visa. Have you got any plans?

I am free for about three weeks from end of August. Traveling up East Coast to Cairns and staying there sounds great to me. As far as farm work and everything else - I am Australian. Which means 2nd year visa not required; I do know a little about the process though if you need any questions answered.
I have been up East Coast a couple times now since I moved to Sydney - but so far not past Townsville. My goal is to get to Cairns and eventually - one day - all the way to Port Douglas. But that is a few years away yet.
Maybe we can all meet up in a couple weeks when everyone is around - see if we get along and so on ... whoever is interested in going that is ?

Amazing - yeah that sounds great.
Would be really good to know that I've got some people to meet when i get there who are up for the same thing!
Also keen to do the agriculture work for a second year visa- although - if everything goes as awesome as I'm hoping it will, I'm planning on applying for my skilled visa when over there
