Well I was planning for a Holiday work visa however Australian Govt doesn't have a Pact with our Govt for Work during holiday...

I leave for Sydney January 6th on my own I have a working holiday visa for the year flight is booked i'm staying in the Lamrock Lodge near bondi for a week when I arrive after that i'm not sure first time ever I have no plans and loving it!!!! Hi Sarah, I'm planning on heading to Sydney mid February (anytime between 17th-22nd) and have the same plans as Alex (above!) only I'm not staying as long and just for 6 weeks. I won't be working whilst I'm there. x

Hi guys,
I am going to Oz (Sydney) solo and dont know anybody there. I am planning to stay around Sydney for 8-9 days and then take a trip to Cairns and maybe another trip for 3-4 days. I have not really planned anything and have no booked anything, but seems like wake up hostel is the place to be. I should be getting a sim card for oz next week and maybe we can exchange numbers or something....or arrange to meet over there for a drink...I am a bit scared of a thought going there on my own now to be honest..But I know it will be great and I really need to do this for myself...get out of comfort zone for few weeks and see how I feel...

I am also going to Sydney and land at the end of feb. I am going on my own too, I was thinking of doing the oz intro as I don't know anyone so thought it would be a good start. If anyone is interested in meeting up while we are there for a few wines as Katie said lol would be good. I haven't got any plans which is totally new for me. Would be nice to hear from someone that is doing the same sort of thing
