Best way to do a Thai visa accross 3-4 months.....need help!

Hey,

when you arrive from the uk to Thailand your get an automatic 30 day tourist visa, however if you intend to re enter from another Asian country you will then only get a 15 or less day visa depending on the regulations, your better of exploring Thailand first, like I will be, then going onto another Asian country otherwise your time in Thailand will be limited.

Ps when are you planning on travelling through asia?

Emma,
Since you are a UK citizen, you will get the free 30 day entry permit every time you fly into Tland. Do most of your Tland sightseeing, then fly or road over to Cam. Laos or your next country. Come back into Tland via road and get a free 15 day entry permit. If you need more than 15 days, I would fly back into Tland. Cheap flights from PNH, SGN, HAN, REP,, etc. You should be able to spend all the time you want in Tland w/o buying a visa. Remember that you void your Tland visa as soon as you cross their border. If you are going to visit VN, I would buy my VN visa in PP if possible. Fastest, cheapest place to buy a VN visa. If you chose to fly into VN, then you can use their visa on arrival system. I used it to fly into HCMC years ago. talks about my experience.

Good luck with your planning.
