We - I and my husband - are planning to go to Spain from November 22 aprox. till middle of January.
Goal of this trip - run away from our countrie's cold/rainy autmn/winter, enjoy our honeymoon, see the culture, new ideas etc.
You can easily spend a week or more in Sevilla; lots to see and do both in the city and in the immediate surroundings. Highlights for me would be the Alcazar and the ruins of the nearby Roman village. Definitely stay in the Barrio de Santa Cruz (the old Jewish quarter). Lovely atmosphere, and very easy to duck into a deserted alley to escape the crowded parts (wonderful to wander through and explore).
Malaga is a different story; 2-3 days is more than enough. It's very much a beach town, with a beach that simply isn't that good; particularly not that time of year. (The Alcazaba is nice, though, the ruins of the theatre cool, and there's an amazing organic restaurant on the Plaza de la Merced (on the Calle Alamos) which you must go to.)
When you've seen all that Malaga has to offer, a bus from Malaga to Ronda only takes two hours, and Ronda is very much worth spending 5-6 days at. I suspect it's a horrid tourist trap in summer, but in winter it's quite lovely. What stands out most in my memory is the food; we stayed for four nights, and had four amazing dinners at four amazing restaurants. Perfect if you like hiking, too; a short hike to descend from the cliffs, and you'll find yourself amongst rolling hills dotted with alive groves; barely any traffic, so great for hiking. There's another Roman site nearby, and a cave with prehistoric cave paintings, which I at least had never seen in person before. Nights get very cold, but daytime temperatures were quite pleasant. (We stayed at there. Great roof top terrace, absolutely lovely caretaker who made the best breakfasts, and pretty reasonably priced.)
The Alhambra at Granada is also deservedly a MUST SEE (book a few days in advance). I didn't care very much for the town of Granada itself beyond that (2-3 days is plenty). Haven't been to Cordoba yet, but from what I hear it's also good, and for me next up on the list when heading to that region again (hopefully this winter).
