Hi all, I am wanting to go to Bali at the beginning of October. Main reason of the trip is to learn to surf properly. Whats the best way to do this? surf school? or rent a board - what is the cost of board rentals etc.
I'm also keen to try diving which I've never done before and some partying.
I'm a 22 year old male and will be travelling solo - where are the best places to stay?
ill be in indonesia too solo backpacking by oct 11-21 4 days in yogya and 1week in bali.. i hope i can able to surf by that time.. im still recovering from knee injury from surfing .. :b
Hi,
The best option for you if you wanna combine surf/party/diving is to choose to stay around the Kuta-Seminyak area.
Surfing schools all around, dive centers too (that might take you to better spots though) and clubs, bars, lounges almost everywhere and always new opennings..
I know a few people there so i can try to give you some contacts for surf schools and some advice if you're interested..
