This is quite possibly the maddest thing I've ever done but you're only here once!! I'm heading solo to Sydney from London on the 9th February, will be working my way up the East coast to cairns, down to Melbourne, then back to Sydney. I'll be in Australia for 3 months in total before heading over to New Zealand, Fiji and then South East Asia.

I am in exactly the same situation as you decided I needed to finally pluck up the courage and book my trip. I am 24 from hertfordshire, I have just qualified as a nurse. I am leaving to go to oz on the 25th of feb. I am doing asia before i get to oz, which is a shame we could of met up in thailand. I am so nervous about going on my own but everyone keeps telling me i will meet people so fingers crossed lol. What have you got planned when you get to oz?

Hey, I'm from Herts too...I have a similar plan, i'm heading to Sydney beginning of Feb. 12 months, hopefully working and travelling. I cant wait but also a little nervous. Are you looking into the ozintro/ultimateoz 1 week intro tours or sorting out everything yourselves...I cant decide.

We're going to NSW for a family visit in December and it's going to be my first time. Not my family but my significant other's. I'm looking forward to visit awesome places and check out what the lifestyle there look like.

Hello -I plan to arrive in Sydney during the last 2 weeks of February 2014 and stay for 1 week, then fly to Brisbane and do the Oz Experience 'Beaut' hop on/hop off trip making my way up to Cairns over a couple of weeks and finish in Cairns for a couple of weeks. I turn 30 whilst I'm out there so would like to organise a sky dive on my birthday!
Let me know if anyone is interested in meeting up? Either that or do Ultimate Oz arrival too
I'm easy going too, bubbly and happy to get involved in lots of things, sightseeing, Sydney Bridge Climb etc.

And looking for likeminded people for the australian adventure
I will travel solo from London on the 6th February. I'm going finally to buy the ticket in these days.
My plan is to visit the East Coast approximately in two months, starting from Sydney
probably taking part to Oz Intro programme for the first week.
I'm checking on internet where to stay in Sydney, any tips? I was thinking about the YHA hostels.

I'm in the process of looking at hostels aswell. Wake up hostel looks popular. I'm thinking to book a hostel for the first 3 nights and then see where else I fancy.
