no what they mean is when you enter the country it is good to have that for your initial perios in oz for like the 1st 2-3 months but people on here they have said they know no one who has actually been checked at the border if you apply now just pay for the visa an if you aint been up to know good lol you should be ffine

yeee thats right lol i think when i applied i only had the exact amount in my account for the visa an was all good got it granted within the day and end of next month ill be in brisbane trying to get work when do yu go

I'm flying from heathrow the morning of the 7th December and arriving sydney 9th! Will you be in sydney for new year?! We are staying at funkhouse hostel!

i am gonna take around $3500 that is an ill hopefully have a job lined up for me wen i get out but we shall see an everyone is talking about sydney and new year but im hopeing to head up north from brisbane and try for cairns and then maybe cape york when it eventually dries up as it would be the wet season or even head to northern territory im going out for the animals so national parks remote locations as it is what i have doone in indonesia and costa rica in the past but australia is way over due for me and i doubt many more people wanna go to oz for the creepy crawlies lol but ye you will be fine
