Travelling Europe next summer

Hi

Consider signing up for a rewards credit card! You can get an amazing credit card that gives you a massive sign up bonus. This will allow you to travel from place to place on the cheap. Barclays just announced the Lufthansa credit card with a 50,000 point bonus. If you aren't interested in credit cards, I apologize, but I try my best to help people save money and travel like rock stars!!

You have to do Munich, and Cinque Terre in Italy. I'd also spend time in the mountains in Austria or Switzerland. I did a month long trip in 2007 and it was amazing!

Sounds good, I'll certainly look into all that.

Thank you

I'll check that out, Thank you

Hi summers10000,

I'm not particularly certain about included destinations, but could you travel to a lot of those places by rail? My impression is that would certainly cut down the costs of travelling around Europe.

I also think Spain is well worth a visit but if your timing and the rail network conspires against you, just save that for a future short trip from the UK.

How long have you got to fit these countries in? Personally, I like to take at least a week in each place so you don't spend most of your trip on a plane/train/bus!

The planes around Europe can be a lot cheaper and of course faster than the trains. Easyjet and Ryaniar and Wizzair and Volatea are all low cost airlines, I suggest you check them out. You can visit mountains in Slovenia as well, there the things are a bit cheaper, but the mountains are the same - the Alps - so beautiful as well.

Sounds good, if you go to spain, you should take a game between Real Madrid and Barcelona

All great suggestions, thank you.

I haven't decided in particulars like time and what not. But I suppose around 6 weeks.

I would love to see el classico, but I'm planning to go in the summer; maybe one day!

Surprised that planes could be cheaper than planes, so that's good to know, thanks.
