Can someone please tel me where I can find the best deals on air fare and hotels in London?
There are a lot of sites for what you are searching for. Start with Google and the area where you would like to stay and pick and several will come up, then choose the site, have a look at a variety depending on what your hotel preference is - hotel, apartment, Hostel etc. Then check to see if your preferred hotel is close to public transport as driving in London is a "no go".
Do something similar for airfares and you will locate what you are looking for.

There are a lot of sites that specialize in helping you to find cheap airfare and accommodations, but it really depends on what type of travel you're looking to do.
Flights also depend on flexible dates, destinations, last minute, etc. If you could provide a bit more information, we might be able to help you narrow it down, but otherwise, I'd second what Rianda is saying and look around at your different options through Google searches, etc.
Skyscanner and kayak are good for flight deals and agoda is always good for accommodation. I always find deals on all three of these sites.
