Hi all. I would like to travel to thailand in sept and do all the usual spots like cambodia laois vietnam etc for about 3 mnths til dec. Iv been checking out the weather for this time tho and apparently its rainy season so thats putting me off abit.is anyone else goin at this time and can advise me on weather conditions. Thanks alot

Hiya Jen.

I am going to India for 2 weeks beginning of september, then on to Thailand, Vietnam and Cambodia for 8 weeks from late september to late november. It is raining season BUT thats not a bad thing. It rains alot in short burts, but this makes the North of Thailand Beautiful and green, the views are incredible.
It is also still VERY hot, and when the sun is out it is hot hot hot and nice if you want to sunbathe.

Dont let the rain put you off, as for October/November time your kind of heading out of raining season anyway so its not so bad.

I went in May/June to Thailand which was also raining season, it did rain a fair bit but its the best trip of my life i wouldnt change it at all!

Go for it!

Hope this helped

Thanks for that :-)

September is usually pretty wet. Temperature is still 25-29 Degrees, Celsius. October the rain begins to stop, the temp being 24-27. November should be not happening now with temps being 23-26. And December should be no rain and temps warming up to 26-29. Have a good time.

Thanks travelhog

No problem, have a good time.

Hey Jen,

I have been to thailand (Bangkok and Pattaya in September), you would find this month as rainy season but only with drizzle. I would say the weather is much cooler during this time and appropriate if you like lighter rains.
