Hey guys, I went to Australia last year on a working holiday visa for a year and am wanting to do the same next year to new zealand and was wondering where to start off? Should I do kiwi experience as im going alone? Is it cheaper than oz? Could do with some travel buddy's
Hey,
I'll be heading to NZ on the 26th August for a year, no idea what I'll be doing yet but I'm flying into Auckland and I've got the whole kit and caboodle kiwi experience tour booked. I am going to be working for a bit and starting the tour in Jan so if you're are thinking about doing the same one it would be cool to know someone before hand. Also, make sure you get your visa through the NZ immigration website. STA are other companies charge a lot extra for them to do it for you.
I go in just over 4 months. EXCITED :D
Hey, thanks for the reply. How much did it cost for the kiwi experience and what exactly is it? Yeah ive heard not to go through STA or other companies for visas. Im just saving as much as I can so hoping to fly out in january/February. How much are you taking with you?
Ohhh bet you are so excited.. wish it was only 4 months till I was going haha
I got it on offer and paid £374 and that's including every stop and every free excursions. Pretty chuffed with it. Check the whole kit and caboodle out on their website. It looks amazing. Even though I get there in August, I'm gonna wait till after new year to start it when the weather is a lot better
I'm planning on taking £4000. I'm waiting for my student loan to come in next week so I can book my first week's accommodation and my travel insurance then it's just save save save cause everything else like flights and visa have all been sorted. If you need any help just give me a message or add me on fb( link is on my profile on here)
Hey when you went to aus how easy was it to find work ?
Hey Tom, I found it pretty easy to find work in aus, depends what you want to do but there's always bar jobs and sales jobs available. I did my cv before I went and just handed it everywhere and got a few job offers at once. Good luck
