what is the best way to get the best rate ?
Whats wrong withdrawing cash on the road fro ATM's?
You use your atm card as you would at home.
You will always receive a better rate of exchange in your destination country.
Where are you going? Have a look first to see if there are plenty of ATMs and, if so, us your normal bank card as suggested above. Check first with your bank to see how much a withdrawal costs and, if it's is a fixed amount per withdrawal, try to take out the maximum allowed amount each time. If there aren't loads of ATMs, take US dollars or Euros or GB pounds and change bits when you need it at your destination.
