Hi guys! I'm new here, my name is Julian and I'm a french dude. I'm studying Biology in France and I love to travel!
Hi Julian,
Welcome to Travellerspoint!
I won't be able to join you but I definitely recommend Morocco if you get a chance to visit. I mostly explored Marrakech and Essaouira when I was there but would love to have covered more. Enjoy your time off in August, wherever you go

Hey! I forgot to say it but on our way to australie, we will stop by Bali for 2 weeks
Hi Julian. Hope you enjoy your time in Australia. Like most visitors you'll probably spend a lot of time on the east coast. Melbourne, Brisbane,Sydney,Gold Coast and Barrier Reef. There is so much to see in the Top End but before the wet season from December/January. There is also a lot to see from Perth in the West. The other Reef,Nigaloo, Rottnest Island, Margaret River wine country and Monkey Mia. Also don't forget the centre Alice Springs and of course Uluru. But also Coober Pedy where most of the population live underground because of the extreme heat. Quite fascinating. Some hidden gems lie in the hinterland of both the Gold and Sunhine coasts in Queensland. Inland northern NSW is also worth a look. If you're in Victoria the historic goldfields of Ballarat and Bendigo really transport you back in time. I guess the message is not to get too absorbed in the cities. There's plenty else to see. Good luck.
Hi guys! Thanks for all these tips and advices!
About Australia, we will land on Perth the 30th of september and we'll surely stay there for a while. We'll buy our van there and if it's possible, work there too. So maybe we'll be staying in Perth for 1-2 month. After that we will start our road trip along the southern coast, then we'll reach Adelaide where we have a friend who live there, then Melbourne from where we'll probably go to tasmania, then Sydney and Brisbane, maybe we'll go to NZ for a while. After we'll continue north to Cairns, then Darwins, then Alice Springs and to finish, Adelaide again where we'll probably sell our van and stuff.
So I think we'll be on Perth on October/November so if there is someone who will be there at the same period, maybe we should meet there
hi julian!
maybe you can swing by some south east asian countries - particularly the Philippines with great food, warm people, fabulous beaches with 7107 islands to choose from
enjoy your travels!
