hello, i am currently in the Philippines for a few months and have been helping with this non profit organization that funds social workers and street educators to help educate kids that live on the streets. Most of these kids rely on begging to survive, or sell candy and cigarettes to get some money. These kids either have no family, have family in far places, or family that is very abusive. It has been life changing to have met these kids and to have helped them in any way possible.
Really touched!! You are doing a great job sir I wish you all the best for your efforts and god bless you.And I don't really know any particular name of any organisation but in India I have seen many people helping for this cause.They conduct their classes under the bridges or under the flyovers.
Not just this,I have read about a person who with his first salary took poor kids to Mc Donald restaurants to enjoy the meals.This shows humanity does exist. Thank you for helping others.
That's amazing that you say this because when I went out on the field with the social worker and street educator we also taught kids on the streets or behind buildings that were not being used and we fed them mcdonalds or whatever was around. Sadly due to certain situations that have been going on in the Philippines, no thanks to the government, budgets have been cut back and the street kids have not been getting educated and have just been working on the streets to survive.
