Your concern is unfounded. If you have enough money in place to prove you're not a bum looking to freeload or stay illegally then your employment status is immaterial.
What made you think otherwise?

Lots of people travel when unemployed, and it's no business of any immigration authority if you are employed or not. Do take proof of funds though, as they may ask how you are planning to pay for your travels while you're in that particular country.
