Hi guys I'm Kelly from Milton Keynes UK. I'm new to this so gonna give it a go. Two weeks ago I moved to sydney as an au pair where I will be spending 6 months. After the 6 months which will be the beginning of January I want to travel around Australia seeing and doing as much as possible. The problem is that I don't know where to start on planning this on my own. If anyone has similar plans ideas or even route suggestions I would be very thankfully for the help. Also if anyone wants travel buddies in this time I would also be interested.

Hi Kelly. How's the au pair job going? Have you got any thoughts at all on where you would like to go? Ill be arriving in Brisbane in November the heading the Melbourne in January. After that I'd also be pretty keen on just doing a bit of travelling around
The au pairing is all very new to be, not been long so still trying to find my feet I guess. I don't really know the main thing I guess is the east coast but I would also like to experience out back like Alice spring not for long tho just to see it and some friends have told me Perth is nice. Oh and Melbourne so as u can see no solid plan at all. Maybe we could meet in melbourne in January but I would assume you would have already done the east coast between November and january
Have you ever au paired in the past? I know it's looking after children but is it cooking and cleaning etc too?
Well I might just get a direct flight to melboune (only about £40) and then do the east coast on the way back up.

No this is the first time. Im quite lucky i dont have to cook and i just clean after the children and generally help out as i would in my own house. Im in sydney untill january maybe our plans could meet sone where

I land in Melbourne in January and I'm completely open with my plans, would love to chill, work, travel - but I'm completely and utterly open minded! I too am on my lonesome! Wild be awesome to meet up etc!

I'm planning to go to Australia in January on a WHV. Same as yourself I have no idea where to start I just want to experience everything. I'd defiantly be up for meeting yourself & others as i'm going solo!
