Hey
We are in Cairns right now so will not be there when you arrive, but our tip is to stay in the hostel Tropic Days. It is lovely, easy to meet people and to book tours, hire vans/ cars etc. it is one of the best places we have stayed.

Does anyone know good hostels in Port Douglas , or in Cairns to meet the young crowd??
