My boyfriend and I are travelling to Australia on the end of November for a year. We have savings of £8,000 so far which equates to $14,400. My parents are also sending me an extra £1000 once we have been there for 6 months. We have a working holiday visa so plan to find work starting from January so we have a little break for christmas and new years! I was wondering if this will be enough for the year? Especially because we want to go Thailand after the gap year as well and not sure if we will have money left over!
