I want to go away for a week over tge Christmas period.Where is good in Europe? Not looking for anything family orientated its just me traveling solo 22 year old guy.

I have tried unleashing the city of prague and it's really nice to see the places there
Amsterdam is amazing over Christmas
What type of experience are you looking for?
Some choices:
lapland (finland)
Tallinn, Estonia
Iceland
cologne, Germany
Salzburg, Austria
Edinburgh or elsewhere in the UK.
If you want to get some skiing in I might suggest Switzerland or the high tetras in Slovakia or Poland.
If you want a bit more warmth but less traditional Christmas markets etc. Ho further south - maybe Morocco Egypt or Turkey
Turkey's great for christmas ... !
Go to Meribel, French Alps... full of young people like you... lively, snowy and very very good nightlife with bars clubs and events... Ibiza in the snow basically.
To give you the best advice though, we really need to know what you're looking to experience. If you just want to hang out and wander Christmas markets, maybe hit a couple of pubs, it's going to be vastly different than if you want a culture shock, warmth, or crazy skiing and mulled wine. You can party virtually anywhere, so if you're looking for a party, I'd hazard a guess you'll find it.
Personally, I'd ask myself where I'd want to go for a week, regardless of whether it's Christmas or not, and then consider how Christmas might change it, if at all, and how you feel about that. I'd hazard a guess that it'd add to the experience and not take away from it, and then you can see whatever you want while you're there in addition to enjoying the holidays.
