Posts asking for travel partners comes up often on this forum. Take the time to do a forum search for similar questions. There may be some tourists visiting the same time who are just looking for you! (Or not!) Not everyone wants to chum around with a stranger.
Visa, hotel location, hotel suggestion, what to see and do, where to eat, where to shop are some of the questions everyone has.
If you ask for any hotel help include where and your price range in Thai baht.
If you meet someone or not you can still have a nice time in Thailand. You do meet people on tours, in pubs and beer bars and sometimes just by chance.
