Hey guys,
Why the replies are being deleted?
Hawaii is a good choice. I have visited there a few times and plan on going again. However, I would choose Paris as one of my most exciting and enjoyable trips. I have been there a few times and will surely return. There are also many other places that I would place high on my list. It is difficult to try and put just one at the top. It would be interesting to see what other members choose.
I am not sure why some replies have been deleted; but, it could be because the postings violated the rules of travellerspoint forum.
Posts 2-4 were spam. (No idea what made this particular thread so attractive to spammers as to get three of them to reply in short order.) Post 6 was sexism troll.
Hawaii is beautiful, but my personal favorite would have to be Thailand - it's got a bit of everything, from gorgeous beaches, to lush forests, to hi-tech urban areas, perfectly balanced
I'm partial to the California Coast. While the beaches in Southern California are fun, they are often crowded, dirty (oil rigs are just off the coast and big globs of oil wash up on the shore) and require you to pay ridiculous parking fees.
I prefer Northern California beaches like those in Trinidad and Patrick's Point. While the weather isn't as warm, you don't have to deal with the crowds. Wildlife including seals and elk is prevalent. There are a ton of hiking trails with phenomenal ocean views. The air is clean and crisp. For those who like shopping, there are always a few burl shops along the way for handcrafted goods.
It's definitely a low-key destination, but if all you want to do is relax and enjoy nature, this is a great area to visit.
