My friend and I are hoping to travel Cuba and Jamaica late June - August.
How do we get from Cuba to Jamaica? Is there a ferry?
Is the hurricane season anything to fear?
Also looking for general advice on Cuba and Jamaica, what to do and what not to do.

I believe you have to fly, and it's not cheap!
June to September is hurricane season in the Caribbean so I prefer southern Europe. Cuba is a place you can chill out. While some Jamaicans are very friendly, others are very unfriendly. I had no trouble there but I had a feeling of unease in a few places.
From Cuba you could fly to Cancun, Mexico. If you fancy a change from the huge beaches, lots of history there within a bus ride or two.
