Hello, I'm in a similar situation. I'm going for a short visit and am wondering how your trip ended up? Did you get in ok, did it even come up at customs were you denied entry, any information would be appreciated, thanks.
They wont ask you unless they suspect something.
And they dont have access to US criminal records. They would have to suspect you of being a criminal for some reason at the gate, contact the police, and THEY can check your criminal record Im sure. But customs would not unless you are extremely unlucky and they happen to ask you if you have a criminal record. This is very rare.
