Hi all, I am a US citizen who is about to apply for a Schengen student visa for Portugal. I have a misdemeanor domestic violence arrest from 5 years ago on my criminal record which resulted in no conviction. Can anyone tell me if this will be a problem with the Portuguese Consulate?

You'll see when you fill out the visa form. Usually those forms only ask about convictions. So don't sweat it too much.
