Hi i am on a 2 year visa in Australia. I have a 4wd and loving it.
hey, i was looking into doing this except the other direction dublin to australia, there is sooo much involved, i ended up changing my mind and will now fly and use public transport overland, the main thing you will need is a CARNET DE PASSAGES, typlically a passport for your car. it works out costing a bomb as you need to leave a deposit insuring you wont just abandon your car in one of the countries.
its a fun thing to plan and if you have the cash id say an amazing experience!
happy travels.
