Hi, in one week i'm travelling to Damascus and some other parts of Syria.
Can anyone give me some tips on what to do, and what to definitely NOT do?
Further to the message I sent you regarding Damascus, I'd also recommend Krak Des Chevaliers, Aleppo, and Palmyra. From Aleppo you can do an interesting day trip to St Simeon and the ''. Allow a couple of days for Palmyra if you can.
It's really cheap and easy to get around Syria by public bus.
