In Laos now in Vangvieng. Looking to head towards Vietnam next although im moving to fast! I know i need to go to Vientiane to sort my visa for Vietnam. Where else is good to head in Laos bearing in mind i need to cvome back to Vientiane at some point. Got 30 days visa, been here about a week now.
Even though it means you will have to backtrack, I definitely recommend Luang Prabang - went there for two days and stayed for a week - loved it. Go further north to Luang Namtha & surrounding areas if you have the energy to backtrack 20plus hours on a bus back to the capital.
