as we all know crackers only create pollution.....we can enjoy this festival even without crackers...wat do u say?
Which festival; New Years Eve? Sure, I don't mind enjoying it without fireworks, but I think you'll have a hard time getting it banned

I don't think they should be banned. I'm not sure what the impact is but perhaps it would be better if they were taxed to offset the pollution and to discourage people from buying too many? Would seem a shame to ban them altogether, I think.
Are you crackers! Fireworks are great. What pollution do they cause anyway - a bit of biodegradable cardboard and paper?
Spoilsport! What fun is a holiday in Asia without deafening noise, crap littering the streets, and the chance of serious bodily injury?
