heya. well i arrive in cairns on the 2nd and im doing a 2day welcome package with ultimate oz and i havnt really planned much further really, all i know is im heading south to melbourne and il be stopping at sydney too. are you doing a similar kind of thing?

I'm arriving in Cairns the very same day. I'm gonna spend three or four days there and then make my way to Sydney over the course of a few weeks. I'm not familiar with ultimate oz but I'll bet there is an opportunity for our paths to cross.

I am flying out on the 27th of October to Cairns. Seeing my sister for a few days then going to make my way down the coast to Sydney for christmas. What is ultimate Oz sound interesting? I am thinking of getting a bus ticket with Greyhound so I can hop on and hop off when I want.

awww fab! well ultimate oz does welcome packages were they offer accomodation and day trips along with all the important stuff like bank accounts, tax numbers, ozzie sims etc. they basically sort all of it out for you so that your first couple of days are set up already. is anyone staying at gilligans hostel or havnt you planned that far ahead yet?

My plan is to take a Greyhound bus down the coast as well. In fact, I already bought the ticket! What types of things are you guys interested in doing?
im planning on buying my greyhound ticket out there, i hear they can do pretty good deals when you buy out there
im interested in everything, to be honest im going out there to have a completley different way of life and make the most of being a free spirit for a while. i want to do all of the tourist things like great barrier reef and whitsundays and fraser island but also maybe do some bar work outr there and do alot of partying :D haha.
what are you hoping to do out there?
I'll probably go skydiving and/or scuba diving in Cairns, maybe tour the rainforest, and get out and enjoy the night life. I've booked a three day / two night diving cruise around the Whitsundays (the boat has a jacuzzi!) and will probably then spend a week or so around Brisbane and the Gold Coast. There's so much I wanna do!
that sounds fab! i know right, there is loads, just dont know how im going to fit it all in so where are you staying when you get to carins?
