Usually a RTW ticket is just an amalgam of a number of separate flights so may save little over booking individual flights. It is also limiting in that you have definite dates usually, though you can leave dates open sometimes. And you travel in one direction (as in to NZ and back).
You could get a RTW price then compare prices on the internet. Considering you are going off season, as in winter Down Under", you should be able to get a reasonable price.
Type: RTW flights into a search engine and you'll get plenty of choices. The cheapest may not be the best, as in it may be lower quality airlines and lousy times to leave and arrive.
