Dear all,
For the Netherlands, April is my favorite month, with the flower fields in full bloom. That's actually enough of a tourist attraction that it gets busy-ish because of it, but the rest of Europe will still be relatively quiet. May generally has better weather and is also still quiet.
Alternatively, late September / early October can be nice, too.
The third quarter of the month is one of the best seasons to visit Europe. October would be fine.
I prefer Spring rather than Autumn (Fall). The weather's warming up and there's a bit of a buzz in the air.
The window for Europe travel if you want warmer days is Mid May to Mid September. You'll still have some rain in parts but it's mainly dry and a good time to visit. Depends where you are but October can be cooler.
We had 4 months traveling round from June to September and traveled as far north to Lapland.
Enjoy
Jean
Dear all,
Thank you for your advice. Will be there in April then. God willing!
Warm regards,
Amalia
You could go there around summer sometime in March or May. Also, the later part of the year is also a great time to visit Europe. September to October has a really good weather.
