I'll be leaving for Bicol this Christmas season.Is it advisable to head to Caramoan?I heard it's way lot cooler than Boracay.
I haven't been able to find much about the place on the www. in the past. Bit of an adventure just to get there. Supposedly some of the most beautiful beaches in the world. My perception is that it will become like Borocay one day but for the moment it seems to be well insulated from the outside world. A few resorts in an area readymade for chilling out.
Good place to visit (I think) with friends or as a romantic getaway.
around two years ago, my friends and i went to caramoan during a december weekend. it was raining when we left for caramoan (always check the local weather forecast! warning: december may be a bit cold and rainy.). thankfully, the sun shone bright - for a day - so we could enjoy the place. (travel may be especially tricky - around three connecting rides via land and sea). go to caramoan if you want to enjoy the white sand beaches on your own or with only a few company. it does not have a lot of establishments unlike boracay. but it's perfect for those who want a relaxing beach vacation minus the trappings of commercialism.
