No Money, But Fcuk it im going!

Hello all,

Don't have that experience yet. But I wanted to tell you; If you head to Sweden, I'll help you with whatever I can! (:

I would actually advice you to make contact with a friend of mine. He has been everywhere possible I would like to say and he always seem to manage everything. A skill I am not lucky to have. But if you would like to I could send you his name in a private message (:

I truly hope you have the best of times whenever you leave for your journey!

1 thing u should get is travellers insurance and shots if you're going anywhere exotic. you never know what can happen. u don't want to be stuck with a huge medical bill when u get back.

Can't give you any decent suggestions when you don't even say where you'd be flying from...

Good luck.

Cheers,
Terry

Not being funny no 2 but if she's got no cash, Sweden is hardly the best place to head! Head to SE Asia - cheapest flight you can get to BK, then travel by bus. SEA is pretty cheap all over but Laos is one of the cheapest I've been to anyway in the world- good traveller scene too. You can do Cambodia, Vietnam, Laos, Thailand -Burma is great but Visa can be hard to get and will cost you. Also all the countries have a well trod traveller circuit with opportunities for bar work etc. Also compared to places like Africa are reasonably safe for a female travelling alone.

If you have no money, maybe your best bet would be to get a WHV (working holiday visa) for Australia, and head down there, make a bit of money, and travel around. They have great beaches...

Phillipa try Goa, India.

Oct- Jan is a great season to enjoy the beach.

Place is very cheap, just go give you few example:

A economical meal will cost you - US$2 per meal
A Coke will cost you - US$ 0.5 cents per bottle
A good bear will cost you - US$ 2 per bottle
A day's accomodation (eco) will cost you - US $10 per night

You can get ample jobs. But obviously you dont get a very high pay. But its good enough to sustain your cost of living.

yea maybe try aus on a working holiday visa. Thats what I am doing and I have not much money at all either! Im going to aus end of November on the working holiday visa and plan to just live off the money i make working out there, I have recently returned from aus ( a holiday in Byron bay) i met loads of people who were on the working visa, and one girl had gone out with 200 pounds and then just got a job in Byron and is still there 6 months down the line on her working hol visa..
so yea maybe do that and aus is great!!

I am in Costa Rica right now after 3months of volunteering and documentary filming and I rebooked my flight to March and I have very little money but my mindset is on cashflow and everything will work out so I am doing that right now, except I decided it when I was here.

Just acknowledge your fears and see how you can minimize them or eliminate them and then everything feels much easier and just go for it! I eliminated my fear of no cash and no home by contacting some friends I made here and they would happily provide me a home if everything just falls apart so now I have no troubles anymore

If you want to see videos, photos and text from my travels so far you can visit my website: -snip-

Peace within!

Sorry for the slightly off topic post but how did these people get into Australia on a working holiday visa on very little money? Dont you need at least $5000 as a bare minimum requirement?
