I arrive in Sydney on Nov 5th with my sister then on my own on Nov 19th.
What are your plans? Are you thinking of staying in Sydney the whole time?

Hey Wyatt--I have housing in Sydney until Dec 1 but I'm on my own after that (as of now)! I think it'd be fun to stay there for a few months, get a job, make a few more $$ so I can do some serious traveling in the early part of next year. I have a 12 month visa so I'm hoping to just take my time. How about you?

I'm thinking of doing the same as you, but I'm somewhat restricted for time. I'm only in Oz for four months, but I could always change my return flight in March but it pretty much comes down to $$$. My friend got a job in Byron Bay and he might be able to hook me up with it as long as I get up there.
So I'm thinking of sticking around Sydney for a bit but then heading up the east coast most likely in Dec - Jan. But things could always change as I'll be just winging it after Nov 19th.
Have you had any ideas on where to stay in Sydney? I've heard good things about Wake Up but I have yet to book anything as of now.
Just got here yesterday! I'm still quite jetlagged but I had a great first day! Going to venture out tomorrow and explore the city--hopefully meet some fellow travelers!
I've heard so many great things about Byron Bay--would love to get up there as well. I'm staying with a friend in Surry Hills for a bit but then I'm not so sure. I've heard Wake Up is great too!
I'm going to spend November looking for job options and getting acquainted with Sydney and see what happens from there. Would be great to be in the city for the new year though!
