going to chiang mai for 4 days, end of november.
looking for ideas for 1 day trips. can we reach the region of pai in one day and be back ? is it worth ? is it resnable going to chiang rai for one day ?
In Chiang Mai, like Bangkok, Pattaya and Phuket you can get tours through local travel agencies if you want. Some hotels even have tour desks.
Trips from Chiang Mai to Chiang Rai are popular. Some of these tours stop off at local Long Neck Women's villages and Golden Triangle. Trips to elephant camps, rafting trips and other local sites are popular.
Even if you take a minivan from Chang Mai to Pai, it takes a good 4-5hours one way.
In my opinion, Chang Rai is not so interesting.
However, around the hill and the caves at Chiang Dao are very nice. It is also a fabulous place to spend a night.
hey hanna go to tiger kingdom in mai rim its about 40 mins away from chiang mai ill be going next yr myself cant wait!
