Does anyone out there know if I can use $US in KL International Airport? I have 2 x 4 hour stopovers in KL on my SE Asia trip. I am from Australia & already converting to $US, VND, KHR & THB. I would really rather not have to convert to Malaysian currency as well if I can avoid it for the sake of a snack or drink! Thanks!!!!!
Nope, but there are at least 2 Bureau de change places that I know of there, where you can change up some of your dollars.
Also if you don't want to spend 4 hours sitting around, you can book a room over at Its walking distance and if you book early online it's probably not more than $50. There was quite a backpacker crowd there the night I stayed.
