Getting around Paris- De Galle Airport to Montmarte

ashleyelaine has indicated that this thread is about Paris

Metro to Gare du Nord.

Change to line 4, Porte de Clignancourt for one stop.

At Barbes Rochehouart change to line 2 going to Porte Dauphine for one stop.

It's not far from the Anvers station.

There are usually road maps on the metro platforms which will show it's exact location, so make sure you leave by the correct exit.

Consider taking the funiculaire rather than walking up all the steps.

Note. The one drawback to the Paris metro is distances between lines so it may require walking some distance.

Thank you so much for the advice!

From Charles de Gaule Airport first take the RER (the train linking the suburbs with the city center) line B (the blue one) until Gare du Nord. Then just follow Cyberias detailed plan.
The trip form the Airport to the city center costs a little bit less than 10 €. There are many vending machines to buy the ticket form at the airport but they only accept credit cards (you must know your code number) or coins! If you have only bills, there is a machine next to the information center to give you change.

Good luck and have a pleasant stay in Paris!
