My fionce and i are planning on taking a year out packing up and going travelling !! All exciting but woild like to hear some advice from couples who have done this already! Is there cheap hostels that have single rooms? Places to go? Things to take? Realy everything we need to consider ?!
Any idea of country or at least region? Caribbean, Asia, South America, Africa, Europe? Different regions have different needs, so it's pretty hard to answer such a vague questions.
Cheap hostels? Yup, they are everywhere, and they usually have rooms for couples. But in some places you don't need them, like India and South East Asia, where hotels are so cheap there's not much of a hostel scene.
Places to go? It's a big world and we all have different interests. I love Asia, but South America was pretty awesome too.
Things to take? Depends where you're going, but generally, you need a passport, travel insurance, camera, and a few clothes. Everything else depends on the traveler and your destination.
Things you need to consider? Where you are going. That's the first step.
